They Developed an “Open Ecosystem” to share and sell data so to speak.

Product Innovations:

-Databricks Delta Sharing: An open, flexible, and secure approach for sharing live data across clouds, platforms, and regions.

-Databricks Marketplace: A platform for discovering, evaluating, and installing data and AI assets to accelerate innovation.

-Databricks Clean Rooms: A privacy-safe environment supporting any language or workload, including Python, for secure collaboration without direct access to sensitive data.

They have also signed partnerships with leading platforms and key players like Stocktwits that will offer exclusive social finance datasets for training machine learning models via Databricks, or Atlassian, which has integrated Delta Sharing to enhance time-to-insight for customers.

• Apple’s Private Cloud Compute addresses these concerns by: Keeping your data secure and inaccessible to anyone, including Apple/ Processing your data only to fulfill your requests and deleting it afterward

• How Private Cloud Compute Works:

  1. Custom-built hardware and software: PCC uses Apple’s cutting-edge hardware and a specialized operating system to ensure maximum security.

  2. Encrypted data transfer: Your data is encrypted from your device to the PCC system, ensuring it remains private during transmission.

  3. Transparency for researchers: Apple will make PCC software available for security researchers to inspect and verify its privacy claims.
